Yes. Engagement shoots are available as an add-on and are a brilliant way to feel more comfortable before the wedding day. Yes, Albums will be much cheaper if purchased as part of one of our packages. Prints and Albums can be purchased via the gallery, once you receive access to the online library.

FAQ

Is travel included for North Wales weddings?

Yes. Travel is included for local weddings across North Wales, Anglesey, Cheshire and Wirral. This helps keep your planning simple and means there are no unexpected local travel charges added later. For weddings further afield, including the Lake District, Manchester, the Cotswolds, London, Scotland, Cornwall or international destinations, travel can be quoted clearly in advance.

Have you photographed at Château Rhianfa, Nant Gwrtheyrn, Henblas or Plas Maenan?

I work across many of North Wales’ most beautiful wedding venues, including elegant coastal, country house, barn and mountain settings. Château Rhianfa, Nant Gwrtheyrn, Henblas and Plas Maenan all offer incredible opportunities for natural storytelling and editorial portraits. If your venue is new to me, I will still plan carefully, scout the light and design portrait options before the day.

FAQ

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

Rain does not ruin wedding photography. In North Wales, changing weather can create dramatic, romantic and cinematic images. I always plan for wet weather, including indoor portrait options, sheltered locations, umbrellas, window light and after-rain outdoor portraits. My aim is to keep you relaxed, comfortable and confident, whatever the weather decides to do.

How long before we receive our gallery?

For most wedding packages, your complete gallery is delivered within 6 to 8 weeks. Your images are carefully edited and presented in a secure private online gallery, which you can access from any device and share with family and friends. The Ultimate Editorial Story includes a 72-hour sneak-peek preview gallery and full gallery delivery within 4 weeks.

FAQ

Can you create editorial portraits without making the day feel staged?

Yes. My style combines documentary emotion with gentle editorial direction. For most of the day, I photograph naturally and unobtrusively. During portraits, I guide you into flattering light, natural movement and relaxed interaction rather than stiff posing. The result is wedding photography that feels real, comfortable and refined, with an editorial finish.

Do you cover Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy and Snowdonia?

Yes. I am based in North Wales and regularly cover weddings across Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Snowdonia, Cheshire and the surrounding areas. Whether you are planning a coastal wedding, a mountain celebration, a country house wedding or an intimate elopement, I can travel to your venue and help make the most of the surrounding landscape.

FAQ

What makes your style modern rather than traditional?

What "modern" means in my style specifically are clean compositions, natural light, minimal posing.

Do you photograph candidly or do you direct poses?

Both, in a deliberate split. For roughly 80% of your wedding day, I work candidly - observing rather than directing, capturing real moments as they happen without interrupting the flow of the day. This covers everything from morning preparations through to speeches and the dance floor.

The remaining 20% is your portrait session, where I do step in with gentle, editorial direction. Rather than rigid posing, I guide you into flattering light and natural interactions, then let you focus on each other while I compose the frame.

The result feels like a considered, magazine-quality portrait rather than a stiff, staged photograph.

Honest and authentic love stories. Creating timeless photos.
