Last Saturday, the new 'Maggies Centre' at Glan Clwyd Hospital was transformed into a runway for An Evening of Dreams Fashion Show - a celebration of creativity, community spirit, and hope. The event brought together staff, nurses, students, local businesses, and designers, all united in raising funds for the new Maggies Centre (Steve Morgan Foundation).
One of the highlights of the night was seeing the incredible Oncology Nurses from the Hospital step out of their day-to-day roles and onto the runway. Their confidence, joy, and enthusiasm set the tone for an uplifting evening that perfectly captured the heart of Maggies: support, strength, and togetherness.
The models looked amazing thanks to the talented Level 1 Hairdressing students from Coleg Cambria, who provided all makeup and hair styling for the night. Their professionalism and creativity brought every look to life and added a polished, editorial feel to the show.
Designer wedding gowns and prom dresses were showcased by Bay Belle Brides and Ffansi Ffrogs, whose collections added elegance and glamour to the runway. Their support, along with contributions from a range of local businesses, helped make the night a true community effort.
Most importantly, the evening raised a generous amount of money in support of the new Maggies Centre at Glan Clwyd Hospital - a place that provides essential care, comfort, and guidance to people facing cancer and their families.
Events like this remind us of the power of community and the impact that creativity and collaboration can have. It was an honour to photograph the evening and to play a small part in supporting such a meaningful cause.
