Molly & Tomos | A Beautiful Nant Gwrtheyrn Wedding in North Wales

Llongyfarchiadau enfawr i Molly & Tomos! 🤍

A huge congratulations to Molly and Tomos, who celebrated their wedding last Saturday, 19 September 2026, at the spectacular Nant Gwrtheyrn on the Llŷn Peninsula.

Their ceremony took place at Ysgubor, surrounded by family and friends in one of North Wales' most distinctive wedding locations.

I am beginning this blog with just a small preview from their day, with many more photographs to follow once their full wedding gallery is complete.

A Wedding at Nant Gwrtheyrn

Nant Gwrtheyrn offers an incredible combination of dramatic mountain scenery, traditional cottages and sweeping coastal views. It gave Molly and Tomos a wonderful backdrop for a relaxed, candid wedding day. Photography began with preparations for both Molly and Tomos before guests gathered for their 3pm ceremony at Ysgubor. The day was planned around a natural, candid style, allowing the story to unfold while still making time for some signature portraits of the newly-weds. One of the highlights was seeing Molly arrive for the ceremony and capturing Tomos' reaction as she entered. After the ceremony, everyone headed outside for the confetti photographs before moving into the drinks reception and family photographs.

Exploring Nant Gwrtheyrn for Their Wedding Portraits

One of the advantages of photographing a wedding at Nant Gwrtheyrn is the variety of locations available within such a dramatic landscape.

After the ceremony, Molly and Tomos took some time away from the celebrations for their couple portraits. We photographed around the Hall before heading up the mountain up to Llithfaen, returning back down to the Nant towards the clifftops overlooking Porth Dinllaen. We also made use of the Nant Gwrtheyrn mountain track, including a memorable trip for Molly by quad bike, before finishing with portraits higher above the venue.

These quieter moments are always an important part of a wedding day. They give a couple a little time together away from the crowd while creating photographs that combine the landscape with natural interaction rather than heavily posed portraits.

An Evening Celebration

As the afternoon moved into evening, celebrations continued back at the venue with the wedding breakfast, speeches and the arrival of evening guests.

We had also reserved time around golden hour for another short portrait session before Molly and Tomos returned to their guests for the evening celebrations and their first dance

It was a genuine pleasure to photograph Molly and Tomos's wedding and to document such a memorable day at Nant Gwrtheyrn.

Congratulations again, Molly & Tomos. Llongyfarchiadau i chi'ch dau! 🤍

This is just a first look at their wedding, and more photographs from the day will be added to this blog shortly.
